Preparing for a Cruise ….in November

In November, Julia and I are going on a Transatlantic cruise aboard the Celebrity Millennium. We will fly from Miami, Florida to Barcelona, Spain where we will spend two days before enbarking the Millennium to sail to Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France, followed by Livorno, Italy, Civitavecchia, Italy and Naples, Italy and finally to Ajaccio, France, after which we will sail for 6 days across the Atlantic Ocean to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Although the cruise is still some time away, we are beginning preparations now because we have never been to Europe, and want to maximize the value of our time there. We are reviewing various tours and attractions to determine those that will fit best with our time constraints and interests.

In the days ahead we will describe the preparations and decisions we make as the day of departure approaches.
