Accommodations at the Hotel AC Barcelona

Final paymet has been made for the November TransAtlantic Cruise and plans are again actively underway. We will arrive in Barcelona sometime on November 22. We still don't have definite flight information. Origionally we were told we would be flying from Miami to London via British Airways, then to Barcelona. It appears now we will be flying from Fort Lauderdale to Kennedy, then to Barcelona via Delta. The TA said this was still not a firm reservation and might change. Final details would be available approximately 30 days prior to departure.

I'm always a little nervous when the airfare is obtained by a consolidator rather than through the cruise line. For example, a search today showed very high rates from Miami to Barcelona, while our agreement shows only $652 for the two of us, the cheapest fare I found was from Miami, to New York to Dublin, then to Barcelona. and NOT on British Airways.

In fact none of the lowest fares were from British Airways. I guess that they assume the responsibility if they delay in obtaining a committment until the last minute.

We will be staying two nights at the Hotel AC Barcelona It is a 4.0 Star Hotel located at Paseo Taulat 278, Barcelona, ES. The hotel is sited 15 metres from the Barcelona International Convention Centre and 300 metres from the beach that runs along the Costa Brava.
