Julia booked the transportation from the Newark Airport to the Port Liberty Pier, and then checked a few days ago to see if it had been added to our account.  She discovered that we had been upgraded from our original category 5 to a category 4. 

This upgrade appears to be a move back to a cabin closer to mid ship.  The size of the cabin and the deck remain the same.  We had booked along with two other couples and had adjacent cabins.  Our upgrade means we are no longer as close together. We have the cruise listed on our countdown list in the sidebar, and we are getting anxious to go.

Julia's son and his family are coming down for a week in October from their home in northern Indiana..  They wanted to go on a cruise but because of time constraints, were limited to taking a four day cruise, considering both cruise scheduling and their wishing to also have some time for visitation in our home.

Julia booked 2 inside cabins on the Veranda deck of the Carnival Fascination, sailing out of Miami on October 01, 2007.  This cruise goes to Key West and Cozumel, areas where we have gone many times in the past.  But this cruise is not about seeing new things, but just to enjoy the company of our children in a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere.
